The Happyweight Practitioner Course

Learn the vital skills to help clients lose weight.

Why would I want to do this training?.

Many people want to lose weight but studies tell us that only 5% of dieters will manage to keep the weight off for a year. This is because the unconscious drive to eat is not addressed by dieting alone. Dieting is a conscious way of dealing with unconscious behaviour. The Happyweight programme enables you to get to the heart of the problem. ounds and inches reduce. How liberating does that sound?

Would you like to -

n make a difference to your clients with weight problems?

n know which psychological skills and techniques can really make a difference?

n know the difference between the myths and truths about weight loss?

n help motivate your clients so that they return and you achieve more success?

n and be part of a network of Happyweight consultants and grow your practice?

What is Happyweight?

The course is the outcome of me writing down everything I know, all the knowledge and experience I have gained, that has enabled me to help people to lose weight and/or overcome overeating. I care about this work and I want this to be the most useful course you ever attend on the subject and to give you knowledge and tools that could transform your life and work. Now you can also work in the way that I do, and get the same results. The people I have assisted are amazing and I have learned a lot from them. I hear of miraculous changes; someone who has stopped binge eating, another who has gone down 3 jeans sizes - all without dieting and deprivation! This is because the system is about solving the problem at the root cause. Interestingly, it also changes other aspects of the person’s life for the better too. Clients report of happier relationships, better job changes or just feeling more content about life and self.

People have weight problems for a diversity of reasons and almost all of them have tried, and failed, at dieting. This course shows you what you can do to make a difference to their future success. It covers all aspects of weight gain and loss; the physiology, the psychology and lifestyle aspects. It teaches the skills that you need to enhance your practice and success rate in a challenging and fulfilling area of work. You will discover what causes a weight problem and how to overcome it. There are no gimmicks, liquid diets, special foods or magic cures - although I do consider that it is a magical programme.

The Happyweight programme is a pragmatic and holistic system incorporating:

n Psychological techniques and know-how

n Nutritional knowledge and application

n Exercise psychology

It enables you to work with clients weight issues effectively so that you

n produce results for them,

n enable them to understand their problem,

n find solutions to the problem,

n enable them to let go of dieting and other entrapping rules about food and eating,

n help them gain freedom, help them to become healthier and fitter

n plus you get to build a successful practice and help more clients via referral.

How does it work?

The system is a common-sense one where you educate the client into taking responsibility for their food and eating behaviour. By analysing the diet and psychology of your client, you start to reveal patterns of behaviour and thinking around food, body image and eating. You also get to understand the core values and beliefs about these that are underlying and supporting the problem. The approach is a unique one that brings together nutrition and psychology. Psychological techniques including Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) are used to enable and support the client as he or she starts to make changes.

What can you expect when you do this training?

You will have quality information about weight loss and what works. You could soon be seeing a real difference in your results and enjoying working with clients with weight problems. You could be enjoying an increase in your income which would allow you to reach even more clients who need your help. After you have successfully completed the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance. You can then join the Happyweight network if you choose for referrals and support as you grow your practice.
